Leah, one of the team leaders in the Kansas City club shared with us a great service project that her team loves to do. It is a slight variation of the Grandma and Grandpa Grins project and any age group can do it:
“Our favorite 
project idea was making pies for the homebound. We had the Challenge girls at different stations with team leaders heading up the pie-making process. They made apple and pumpkin pies from scratch. Then they personally delivered them to the elderly homebound of the parish and their families. They stayed and visited with the older people as well. We received several thank you notes from the older parishioners, one of which said it was “the best gift I’ve ever received.”
