Michelle Garvey, the club leader of the Fort Mitchell, KY Challenge shared a bit about her group’s experience at the March for Life. “ Some of the girls and moms from our 8th grade team in Fort Mitchell Challenge club recently went to the March for Life in Washington D.C. We traveled on a bus with our Diocese. Several of the schools from our diocese ended up canceling their trip due to the bad weather. Our girls were asked to hold the diocesan banner. A picture of the girls holding the banner after a mass held by our bishop, Roger Foys, at St. Dominic Church, was on the front page of our diocesan newspaper this past week. During the actual march, the girls walked with the banner in front of the bishop. It was a wonderful experience for us all.”
